Early in January I infused organic sweet almond oil with the rosehips we had foraged on a morning walk through the vineyards. The rosehips were washed, dried, placed in the oven on the lowest setting possible for 3 to 4 hours. Once cooled, they were added to the oil and allowed to rest for a month in the fridge. The result is floral, fruity scented oil with the glossy shine of stained glass, the light refracting through the Kilners jar. What a wonderful place to start prepari
